Britney Spears has shared a personal story in her upcoming memoir, revealing something she kept secret for 20 years. While she was dating Justin Timberlake, she got pregnant, but she decided to have an abortion, as she writes in a part of her book that People magazine released.
She explains that it was a surprise, but not a sad one for her. She loved Justin a lot and had always thought they would have a family together, just not this soon. Justin, on the other hand, wasn’t happy about the pregnancy and said they weren’t ready for a baby.
In her book, “The Woman in Me,” Britney Spears talks about how she felt torn at the time. She says that if it had been only her choice, she wouldn’t have gone through with it, but Justin was certain he didn’t want to become a father.
This experience has stayed with her as one of the most painful moments in her life.
Britney Spears and Justin dated from 1999 to 2002. Later on, Britney married dancer Kevin Federline, and they had two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, before divorcing in 2007. Justin Timberlake married actress Jessica Biel in 2012, and they have two young sons named Silas and Phineas.
